This light provides excellent security lighting for the parking area directly in front of my business. The dusk to dawn function is exactly what I need. I waited to review this light to make see how it was going to perform during hard stormy weather…it has done well. I did take one star away because even though it does cover the area advertised, the outer bounds of the lighted area are a bit lacking. The light comes, for the most part, assembled and ready to mount/install so the installation was simple and did not take much time or effort. I recommend this light.

It's an LED light with good brightness, and very nice heatsink construction. But the efficiency and electronics are suspect, and the power claim is wrong.* The ad claims 100 watts of power, but actual consumption is only 84. The claimed lumen level is not believable. Total light output is not bad for the actual power consumed, but still less than expected.* The light shines mostly straight out from the unit with little spread. That can be a good thing, but our other lights deliver a similar amount of light over a much wider area.* The "photoelectric tube sensor" is a weird claim, it's just a regular semiconductor sensor. But it works well, and is very sensitive.* The light glows faintly when it should be off. The light sensor controls a relay to cut power to the LEDs. When relays are open, it's impossible for power to flow at all. That glow means power is leaking through somehow. My power meter reads zero, so this won't cost you money, but still it's not right.-1 star for the false power rating, and -1 star for the actual usefulness compared to the unnecessarily grandiose claims.

This parking lot light will be an excellent way to easily light up our driveway and carport area, and it'll save us money because not only is it LED, but it's dusk-to-dawn sensor-controlled, so it'll turn itself off without us forgetting about it. It's got a solid-feeling aluminum body, lots of fins to dissipate heat from the light, and the mounting bracket has several positions that you can install the light to direct it where you need. It's 14,000 lumens, so it's very bright, too. This will be easy to mount on the side of a garage, shed, or other structure to provide light where you need.PROS:1) Aluminum body - it'll dissipate heat, and hold up to the elements (we get hail where we live and plastic lights don't hold up).2) An unusually large photocell sensor, so it seems that it'll be much more accurate than some. It's also a plug-in, so this seems to have a design that'd let you remove and replace it if it failed.3) 14k lumens will be very bright - much brighter than a porch light, so it'll improve night safety walking around the yard.4) Nice style; it's not too large so it won't be an eyesore on the side of your structure.The CONS:1) I don't know if you could find replacement photocells if the unit failed. That may be a challenge, but I like the idea of parts that can be removed/replaced if they do fail.2) It only came in the one body color, but it's nice looking in person.Overall, we're excited to install this one, as it'll increase nighttime safety.
