This would make a good gift; my little girls love it. There's enough room to put in a few of the specialty molds.When I got this I was unsure if they were regular PERLER type beads. THEY ARE. They work exactly the same way on the same toothy things.You can get bulk beads more cheaply other places, but take it from a mom of 5, this little set actually keeps some of the nightmarish mess suppressed- I have not yet found 50,000 beads on the floor, either! This is more than enough for a kid to have fun and have some creativity without spending $60 at a big craft store.

I haven't made anything yet, but I'm excited to with this cute and very complete set. The little storage case makes it self contained and would also make it a great gift.

Great kit to get started with. It has everything you need to start making Pixel art, minus the iron.I would exercise caution in mixing these beads with official Perler brand beads since they tend to not melt well with these but aside from that, great starter kit!

This is a great gift set to introduce someone to Perler beads, but the storage and all the things it comes with make this a great buy or gift for even an experienced and practiced crafter. I loved the idea guide with templates and that it even had ironing papers thrown in.

My daughter and I have had so much fun with fuse beads over the last few months, so I got this set for her for her birthday. First I absolutely love the case. A lot of the fuse beads on the market do not come in a case like this. So huge bonus. I love that the bead board is clear so you can actually slip the provided patterns underneath for ease of use. Comes with everything you need even tweezers, which other brands do not provide. Another fabulous bonus, especially if you’ve ever used fuse beads before you know how handy the tweezers are even for little fingers! Just like with any other fuse beads finding the perfect temp on the iron is, in my opinion, an art form in itself. But this is a great set. Especially for the crafty kiddos. Could even be a fun play date or party idea. Definitely worth the money!

This kit is very straightforward and has so much! The beads melt easily with my craft iron on a medium setting (2 of 3) so I dont even need to set it at the hottest setting. The colors are very fun, some are so bright! I haven't tried to use all of the rings and key chains yet, but i like that they are included

This is my first experience with fuse beads, and I had a lot of fun with them. I have made so far ten designs from the beads in this kit, and I have quite a lot of beads left. There is a whole book full of designs that can be done that is included. I didn't use the book, but it would be great for kids who need guidance learning how to design a picture. I used a mini iron to melt the beads, and I put a glass dish on them with a gel ice pack in it after melting to help them set faster. I don't know if it's a good method, but it's just the way that I did it. It did take a long time to melt, and I had trouble getting an even look. This kit has more like eighteen colors than twenty. Some of the colors that were supposed to be different were too close in shade to differentiate, like the two hot pinks look the same when held together, as do the two tan shades. I was able to make a lot of cool designs with what is there though, and I did have a lot of fun with this kit.
