Edit- the website is back up so I want to adjust the rating. The AC itself works amazing. And I was able to access the app now.Don’t buy this if you have an Apple phone. There’s no app and they don’t have a website. False advertisement.

This portable air conditioner is intended for a back bedroom that does not cool down efficiently. I appreciated this model because it does not require permanent window installation. Being on wheels, it can be conveniently positioned as needed. It also includes a remote control for easier operation, eliminating the need to get out of bed to make adjustments. Additionally, the unit features a timer. The package includes everything necessary for installation and operation. The instructions were well-written and easy to follow. I also watched the video on the product page, which provided guidance on installation and maintenance. For instance, it is recommended to let the unit sit for six hours before first use and to wash the filters monthly. Before installing the air conditioner in the window, I tested it unvented in the entryway, and it produced a significant amount of cool air. The baffles on the top of the unit opens only during use, which I appreciated as it helps keep the unit clean when not in operation. The unit functioned well, albeit slightly louder than expected, but the noise level was acceptable. However, it suddenly stopped working, requiring me to reset the circuit breaker. Ideally, this air conditioner should be connected to a dedicated 20-amp circuit, but our circuits are 15-amp and shared with multiple outlets and devices. While our garage has 20-amp circuits, this bedroom is on the opposite side of the house, making it currently unusable without modifications. When considering this air conditioner, I was initially concerned about increased power consumption; however, the estimated cost is $107 annually. Cooling this bedroom with central air costs more, making this a cost-saving option in the long term. Unfortunately, I am unable to rewire the room myself and will need to consult an electrician for a bid. It would be disappointing if this solution does not work out, as the unit is excellent and would more than sufficiently meet our needs.

Had a room that used to be an attic that was built into an office / hide out from the kids and family. It got very hot during the summer and the ceiling fan wasn't enough to make it comfortable. I added this portable AC and it was cooled off in minutes. Install was super simple. No cutting or mounting. Anyone can do it IMO. Once installed I just turned it on and within a few minutes cool air was filling the room. Now I can hide from my kids for hours in the peace and quite of a cool attic hideout. The AC is quite enough that I can nap while it runs or watch TV and not be bothered at all. The unit doesn't take a lot of floor space up although you do have to leave some room for the hose so keep that in mind when planning your location. Its also quite nice that being portable I can move this unit to another room if I need to for any reason. I can also power it with a generator during a power outage, giving me one "cool room" for sleeping and relaxing even during long power outages. Great option if you need a portable ac.

Quite loud for an AC. The compressor kicks in and is obnoxiously loud right up until it kicks off afterwards. It does cool though, and is quite efficient at that.. for smaller rooms. Larger living spaces take a long time but it does at least make the immediate area nice and cool.

It's a hefty unit. Kudos to anyone who gets a delivery driver to lug it up steps for you.Once you cut the plastic straps and tape, just lift up the box and the bottom will stay on the floor and you can see your new unit. Because it is packed so tightly in the styrofoam, it may take a bit of wiggling and holding the bottom styrofoam part on the ground. You can use the blue tape on the unit to press and pick up any styrofoam bits on the floor. The unit thankfully has wheels to move around, and they are pretty smooth. The unit has heft and feels pretty well made on par with anything gotten from Costco. The remote does come with batteries (thankfully). Also included of course are the vent hose (single) and window adapters. There are YT videos explaining the pros/cons of single versus double vented portable AC units. Practically speaking, I'm not sure that it makes that much of a difference. After a minute to get the unit's fridge cold enough, it puts out cold air pretty well. The doors to my room are not that well sealed, so pulling in some hallway air from negative pressure, is not a big deal to me. The important thing is to set up the single hose vent to the outside air to expel the warmed exchange air. There are lots of options to customize the cooling to your needs. The buttons are touch sensitive and work quite well. The unit can get fairly noisy (to me) though, so I won't use it while trying to sleep (light sleeper) unless it's an emergency level of hot. It's not noisier than a standard window unit though. I wish I had a real calibrated dB meter to check, but I do not. The time to cold air being put out is fast and it does a good job of really making a room cooler (how fast depends on how big a room of course). There is an app by the manufacturer, but TBH I try not install unvetted apps on my phone. Beside, the remote is all I need. People who might be out of the house at the time and want to come home to a cooler room might be willing to use the app though. There is also a sleep timer for the unit.

This portable AC unit is powerful, and easy to setup. The wheels make it easy to move. It's also shorter than most portable AC units, allowing it to easily fit under many tables and desks. Both the remote and app connectivity work great. As far as the AC itself, it both blows very cold and put out a lot of air.
