I had looked locally for a product like this for my almost blind mother. She needs a calendar she can write really large on, and the regular wall type calendars have squares for each day much too small, plus she can not see well enough to determine the dates. This allows her to have a page for each day, and is exactly what she needs. Office supply stores in town didn't have this in stock, but did offer to order for me however their prices were double yours. I am very pleased!

But once it's put together, it serves it's purpose. I like having an old-fashioned calendar on my desk, physically. This way I can write notes and as the days come up I have Reminders, I prefer this to using outlook or another computer calendar program.

I gave this as a gift, so I don't really know how it went over. I used to have one of these at work for my daily desk calendar. I always liked the way it worked, so I assume the gift recipient would feel the same way. I also ordered a calendar refill which had a color picture for each day of the year.
