It worked excellent. There are some minor flaws, but that is user error (make sure to do thin even coats lol). I’ve owned my home for a while and hated the yellow bathroom sink/counter but not enough to replace the whole thing, and bought the smallest size of this to refinish it and love the end result. Can’t say much about durability yet, but definitely worth the money so far.

I bought this product after watching a review on it. I prepped the tub area first by cleaning with Ajax with bleach. I used a hard sponge with steel wool and scrubbed the tub well. After rinsing, I let air dry somewhat and then dried with a towel. I taped off the faucet and drained. The kit contained everything I needed including plastic tarp, tape, paint roller and brush. I didn’t have to use any face covering, low to no smell. This size allowed me 2 applications with a little left over. I let it cure for 7 days. Very happy with the results. Saved myself hundreds of dollars.

I read through the reviews before buying this product and none of them were particularly helpful so I’m going to write one that will actually help you decide whether or not you should buy this product.First of all, when you open the can there is a plastic pull tab you have to peel off of it (think of the milk caps you had to pull the plastic string off of before you could twist the cap). It was very hard to pull this off. The tab broke so I had to use needle nose pliers to pull it off. That was annoying and more time consuming than it should have been.When you open the box, there is an instruction sheet with a QR code that takes you to an instructional video. Watching the video isn’t really necessary. I mainly watched the video to find out why a caulk tool came in the box. There’s no real reason it came. The mixture itself has a consistency of ricotta cheese. I do recommend wearing safety glasses when applying it. I applied it to my bathtub and bathtub/shower stall and the mixture kept ricocheting off the surface and getting on my face. I have no idea why, as I was using the roller that came with the kit and wasn’t doing so aggressively or quickly. That was kind of weird.Lastly, keep in mind that if you only have one bathroom, this might not be the product for you because the instructional video tells you it takes 7 DAYS for this product to fully cure. ONE WEEK. So you can’t use the surface you are refinishing for a week. So you can’t use the bath tub, sink, shower, whatever it is for a week. Be aware of this before you purchase. None of these reviews mention this so I am telling you. You can’t get the surface wet for a week or the product will probably peel off. That’s probably why the reviews saying it’s peeling are peeling. They used the shower way too soon and didn’t watch that video that told them not to use the tub for 7 days. So BUYER BE AWARE!
