For the price, this is a great deal with how many patches you get. They're a good average size; something noticeable, but that also fits many different uses. They are thin, but they have a good amount of thread, so the designs look great. The back side has a thin, clear layer of iron-on adhesive. I don't usually trust to use the iron-on aspect, as I just sew all my patches in. These ones being so thin are perfect for easily sewing in.Out of all 18, only one of mine had an area where the thread was pulling out. I can just clear cover that and it will be fine. I'm very pleased with each of the patches/designs, and I can't wait to start using them on things. Highly recommend.
