My old toolbox lock on my truck came off and I needed a replacement. I saw this and thought perfect. It is offered at a great price and is very heavy duty. It is a great replacement for my lock however, I store only ratchet straps in my truck toolbox, and do not need to keep it locked. I do wish I could lock it without key. Keeping up with Keys has my pockets bulging. This is a strong lock and was easy to install. It can be used to replace any heavy duty lock you need. Works great on toolboxes on trucks. It comes with everything you need for installation.

This toolbox lock was used to repair a lock on my truck's toolbox, which actually has a 90 gallon fuel tank hidden within. Well, somebody thought they were getting tools but failed as I had no expensive tools within and the fuel tank was near empty. This worked well on my repair of an older toolbox, but a better lock mechanism would be requested in future.
