Seems to be working great for me so far. I replaced the upper housing of an off brand battery for my milwaukee m12 tools because both locking tabs broke off during use. I think I was absentmindedly pulling on the square base of the battery while using my m12 hackzall to 'help' it through the material a few too many times. It seems to have caused the tabs to break off which disconnects the battery. The new upper housing is holding up great so far. Been more careful not to pull on the battery itself. It fit great on the aftermarket battery, and I believe it would fit fine on the OEM version as well. I took a few pictures the replacement piece next to the aftermarket battery, and one picture of the assembled replacement next to the OEM 4.0ah battery.The color is a little different, with the replacement housing being much more glossy than either the aftermarket housing or the OEM housing. Otherwise, the shape, fit and function all seem to match the OEM and aftermarket upper parts. I even have an extra in case of another mishap, since the package came with 2 housings. Would definitely get it again to keep an otherwise functional battery going.
