I had a tub/shower with a diverter that was not happy. It leaks like crazy and vibrates/rattles whenever anyone tries to use the shower, so it's rarely, if ever, used. Or at least was.My first instinct was to just get a new diverter spout and change out the whole darned thing, then I saw this and figured at 2 for ten bucks it was worth taking a chance on repairing the diverter valve myself. Man, am I glad I did! The old valve came out pretty easily (after a little poking around first) and this new one went right in. Now, you can run the shower and that tub spout is quiet and DRY!

My diverter broke and I could no longer run the shower. I thought I needed a whole new spout. Got this and installed in about 5 minutes, it works well enough for the shower to work again
