I bought the 20". Ordered these to make a potting table. These are functional and will probably do the job. Why 3 stars? The picture shows the release lever close to the end of the bracket. I think that's important so you don't have to reach back and feel for the release. The release on these is a good 4-5 inches back from the end. Not a huge deal but that's not what I wanted. So, if that's important to you, buy something else. Also, these are not that sturdy once you install them. I meticulously measured everything before screwing them in tight. They must be perfectly vertical, parallel and perfectly level so they will function properly. Once brackets were in place, I screwed the 3/4" plywood onto the brackets. Plywood was 48"X21". I tightened the screws very tight and evidently bent the brackets right by the middle screw and the brackets would not close but about halfway down. Took me awhile to figure out why but finally noticed the brackets were bowed. I had to take a rubber mallet and carefully bend them back to straight in order for them to close all the way. Even now they only close to about 90% closed. I did tighten the screws pretty tight but only as tight as I could tighten with a screwdriver. Did not use a power tool. I was surprised they could be bowed that easily so if you buy these be aware of that. All that being said, they are pretty decent brackets and I'm going to keep them just because I don't want to disassemble the whole thing and return. They are working but they are not as sturdy as I thought they'd be. If I were to do it again, I'd buy something sturdier.

I purchased these folding stainless steel shelf brackets to construct a shelf for a 4 gallon water storage tank for a reverse osmosis system that is mounted on a masonry block wall in my basement. The stainless steel is thicker and much nicer than I expected. Looks like high quality. The shelf is secured to the wall with four Tapcon concrete screws and is rock solid. It easily supports the water tank, which weighs 40 lbs when full.Nice product that I highly recommend.

I wanted a kitchen cart of a particular size with a dropleaf but couldn't find anything that was exactly right. So when I saw these brackets, I decided to try to make my own. The pix are of the not-quite completed cart (apologies for the messy garage in the background), but you can see that the brackets worked quite well in constructing the dropleaf and everything lines up perfectly whether the dropleaf is up or down. The brackets operate smoothly, and stay put when the dropleaf is up.I next plan to order the longer (24-inch) LuckIn brackets to make a simple foid-down desk top.

Using at the end of an overland slide out system to hold a two burner stove. When I stow it, it will be in shelf mode (L shape). There is a tiny bit of play in the joints, So I may just strap it so it’s not jiggling around in there. Very strong construction, should be great for this project.
