I got this 24V 40VA doorbell transformer to make a smart video doorbell work, as my old 16V transformer wasn't enough for it. This transformer easily handled 54VA in tests without dropping below 24V. It seems well-built, with adequate AC wires and output terminals.My measurements:* Voltage: 30.1V open-circuit, 25.93V with 2.09A load.* Power draw on AC side: 5W no load, 73W with 54W load* Isolation: 198 M ohm primary-secondary isolation, 172 M ohm coil to ground* Ground resistance to shell was 0.02 ohms* Coil resistance: 85 ohms primary, 5.8 ohms secondary

Worked perfect for my ring video doorbell Pro 2. Gave it the exact power needed. No issues at all.. overall it’s made very well. I am very pleased with how well it works.. excellent transformer for really any video doorbell
