thumbs could be a bit bigger. I cant get my thumbs all the way in to make the illusion work properly and makes my thumbs look extra long. maybe if i had tiny hands.

I ordered these ‘2Pcs Fake Thumbs’ for my Grandson to use with his magic hobby. And magician knows the importance of having thumb tips in your magic case, and these tips seemed pretty cool given they light up.I was a little disappointed in these ‘2Pcs Fake Thumbs’ for a couple of reasons. Firstly the tips are just way too small. They’re too narrow to comfortably hold the lighting mechanism. And they are too short to stay on your finger with or without the lighting mechanism in them. And they are definitely too small hold a silk or anything you want to vanish. They definitely need to be bigger.I also feel that the lighting gimmick is poorly designed. It works fine and emits a nice bright light, but it’s very hard to operate inside the thumb tip. There has to be a better design.I do like the flesh tone color of these ‘ 2Pcs Fake Thumbs’. It’s one of the most realistic I’ve seen. So many other thumb tips look fake when have them on your finger. These tips don’t.All in all, these ‘2Pcs Fake Thumbs’ look good on and look good lit. But they are too small, in my opinion, to be useful…at least for an adult magician.

I thought this was a fun and unusual prop for Halloween. The package contains two hollow flesh-colored "thumbs", each of which contains a compact battery-powered light which is loose inside the thumb, not attached. Once you remove the white battery tab, the light comes on when you apply a little pressure, and off when you let up. You don't have to hold pressure to keep the light on. When the light is on inside the thumb, it emits a red glow that shows up very well in low light. My medium-size woman's thumb fit inside the thumb with the light, but I found it difficult to release the light switch without partially removing my thumb because of the size of the light. My husband's thumb would not go into the plastic thumb with the light inside, so it's not something he can use. I'm not sure I get why it's two thumbs; I think I would prefer a set of all five fingers and have more use for it. I received it through the Amazon Vine program.

1 star cause the lights are very bright. thumbs are very cheaply made. thumbs are too small with the lights in them. thumb holes too large for a child that might have smaller thumbs. in my opinion these aren't worth any price. im guessing they would disappoint any child receiving them and definitely any adult. no instructions. These thumbs will not stay on anyones fingers unless taped or glued on.

I'm an amateur magician, and I sometimes perform at children's parties. One of my go-tos are the original D'Lites. If you haven't heard of them, they are this illusion in its original form. I picked these up as a backup, because my originals are old, and I always worry that they will break. So, good news and bad news. The good news is that this forced me to do a search and discover that you can still buy the originals...which is what I'll have to do. The bad news? This product is a waste of money. The thumbs don't look realistic, either in color or texture. They are too large on the outside, yet somehow too small on the inside. The light mechanism is not secured in any way to the thumbs, requiring you to manually insert it and somehow hold it in place without pressing the button. This is nearly impossible to do, since the inside is too tight, and the light slips around. In the original D'Lites, the thumb looks more real, the inside is cozier, and the buttons are glued to the thumb, making it easy to control the light. This product is hard to control, even with seasoned sleight of hand, and it's not worth the cost. Buy the originals, instead. They are a much better value for the cost!

Lights work well, thumb openings are a little too big and thumb cavity a little too small. Because of this, the lights are very sensitive to activate so will require some practice to use well. Decent coloring so a little slight of hand is required. Takes some practice to get the feeling for the operation. The light is flawless though. Great addition to my magic routine.

5 stars for the price. A great trick to perform. I would use better thumbs, and tweak the buttons so they work for you. Not hard to do, but the thumbs are small, poorly coloured and could only be used in the dark.
