These are solid pig-tail connectors. Those U.FL convectors are delicate and hard to use, so it's handy to break them out to a more robust connector. This pig-tail seems to be of good quality and the BNC bulkhead has a nice weatherproof O-ring for mounting in an enclosure.

A while back, I decided to standardize all my handheld radios to accept BNC equipped antennas. This quick interchangeability has been super handy. So when I saw this pigtail adapter cable, I realized that I could do the same thing with my Meshtastic nodes. It’s not like these little units have big antennas generally, but using BNC connectors means that I can switch between mobile and base station antennas quickly and with ease. The mounts are fully integrated with the female connectors themselves and are milled from a single piece of stainless steel. This design is amazingly strong and robust. The threads are perfectly cut which allows the mounting nut to thread on very smoothly. Besides the nut, a lockwasher is also included which helps to keep it from rotating when mounted. The base also has rubberized seal built in, presumably to help with moisture resistance.I cannot tell if the cable is crimped or soldered due to the shrink tubing, but the connection is very strong and reliable. The other end has an IPX plug clearly crimped onto the end. For connection to my Heltec V3 or other development board.All-in-all, I am very happy with these jumper leads and would recommend them.
