I know that Craftsman has a history of making things just different enough so that you need to use their parts, but I thought this wouldn't be an issue. but alas, Craftsman 3 ton floor jack uses a slightly smaller retainer bolt than this retainer bolt. It's the same length but won't screw in.If you have any other brand than Craftsman you're probably OK
