This is not a straightforward audio cable to go to an external mic. It will buzz. Wish they had been clearer in their description and it's too late for me to return.

This is a nice flexible cable, feels very soft and satisfying. Now one slight draw back I expected was some slight loss of treble frequencies over the 15ft length. I Notice a difference compared to a shorter cable, but this is just the limitations of analog signals and cable capacitance, not a lot you can do with a 15ft cable unless it's really pricey.

Used these multiple times now and have never had an issue. Great pric and great quality. No issues with sound whatsoever.

The sound quality isn't so great with these. There is a lot of noise on the line with it. Using a headset the person I was talking to could hear a loud noise whenever I activated my mic using them. The length was good and the chord seemed durable enough but the internals just don't match up. It might work good enough for just listening but speaking over it was not a good experience. If you are getting this for headset use look for something better.

I had to return a different one that even cost more as the 3.5mm plug just slid in and out of the input and I literally had to hold it pushed in with my hand to hear any audio. I have another one I bought years ago that is almost the same but as long as I don't bump it I don't have a problem so kept that one. I don't know what it is with these manufacturers today and why they make these things unusable for some 3.5mm cable plugs. But this one makes a nice click and stays in nice and snug. I little tricky winding it up but not a big deal. Nice and light and haven't had any issues so far. Highly recommend!
