Stunning classic solitaire with the prettiest pear cut stone that is bold and statement making. True to size fit and the Moissanite stone is fully faceted and crisp and clear. Grading information and a lovely presentation box are included. Will easily stack with most other straight bands.

This ring is gorgeous. I used it as a promise ring to my daughter that I will always be there for her no matter what happens in this life. The ring was well made and shines bright. Great quality. Came with a cute ring box and bag.

This ring is absolutely beautiful in person. Shines with every turn. My husband ordered a size too big but I'm in love with it. We'll have to figure it out.

In a world where face-centered-cubic (FCC) carbon, aka diamond, was unknown, but similar crystals of silicon carbide were found naturally in quantities sufficient to make it a luxury good, in such a world, if a commerical process were found to produce diamonds at low cost, it's possible that silicon carbide would remain the most desirable gemstone and diamond the less-desirable substitute. But that's not the way things worked out on this world, where the story placed silicon carbide (Moissanite) in the underdog role.I'm not sure how I feel about the quality of the setting or the cut of this particular piece. It's relatively large, to be sure, a size in diamonds where there is an enormous price range, the low end of which starts at around 40 times the cost of this ring, while the high end pokes into the stratosphere. The top of the stone has a large flat that's hard to see in the listing as it's lighted in a way that the interior facets show through, whereas the actual ring, at least in my current light, shows mirror reflections, where the flat stands out like a pane of glass. To be fair, even moving it further from the light source lessens this effect and I'm not sure it would even be noticeable in practice. One could also question the faceting on the back of the stone, which is hard to see but from some angles looks incomplete, and the color of the gold plating, whatever its composition, which looks somewhat less than authentic to me.At a price just one fortieth of the lowest priced diamond equivalent it's unreasonable to expect the craftsmanship to retain the same levels that the material has already relinquished — you can't put a thousand dollars worth of crafting into a ring selling for a fraction of that. I've seen other Moissanite items which sparkle more at similar prices, and I wonder if better results are found in smaller stones selling for a similar price and leaving more margin for workmanship. Moissanite stones of a particular size, like diamonds, command a wide range of prices in a much lower price band.I wanted to love this ring and I've been delighted by other jewelry using this stone in the same price range, but this particular example, sadly, seems a little lackluster, though still a good value.
