Very satisfied. I ordered in bulk so I wouldn’t run out especially on days when you break a needle and don’t have a replacement. Definitely worth the price.

I bought these because they are chrome. I went through 3 needles embroidering 1 T-shirt. Then another 2 with an appliqué design. I thought these would be stronger and more economical, but they absolutely are not. My normal needles typically only get changed, because you should change them between projects. I guess the “up side” is, it won’t take me very long to get through all 50! I certainly won’t reorder these!

I haven't made it through one package, and five of these have broken. I do not have this problem with other Schmetz needles. I'm not doing heavy embroidery, I'm using quality thread (Isacord poly), and I keep my machine oiled. Yet these break before I make it through one simple project. I took my machine (Bernina) in for maintenance, but they could find nothing wrong. I'm as mystified as I am disappointed.
I love to shop 💜

I have NO idea why these are as awful as they are. I didn't read reviews before purchasing as I've been using Schmetz for years, and these particular needles for a very long time. These, only maybe 2 out of every package will work with my automatic threader (and if you're an embroiderer, you know how precious those things are to our frequent thread changes!!). And of the two that do thread, one of them is going to constantly shred my thread!! I have never, in all my years, experienced such garbage! And, when I emailed Schmetz, they tried to blame it on my machine. Never mind that I had just had it serviced, and in addition, another brand of needles that I've changed over to, is threading every single needle, every single time and doesn't shred them either! Done with Schmetz unless I've got not other option.

These were the worst needles i have ever bought. I have been embroidering for over 15 years and always use schmetz but these shredded my thread and just made a mess of my project. I thought i might have a bad needle so tried another one same issues. so i sent them back but prime was far from easy. I had to drive 25 miles to the whole foods to drop them off in the back of the store during a pandemic and this was my only option for returning.. not happy at all.

Don't have to change needles so often when using these to do machine embroidery.

I’m very happy with these needles! Far fewer broken/bent needles compared to the normal Schmetz 75/11 embroidery needles I used initially. I’m using them on my Brother SE 1900.
