I use a cable caddy, much easier for moving my cable around, this was in a box and everything fell apart when I took it out of the box... I tried this company because the usual pieces of crap lied to me about when my cable would arrive and hurt my project, of course Amazon didn't tell me right away they where out of stock either, this company was prompt , delivered exactly what I ordered. I just don't like the cheap plastic spool.

I have used this cable several times for camera systems and it turned out to be ok considering how cheap it is. The material is quite durable yet very flexible and easy to use during installation. One this is that, it is copper-coated aluminum and not solid copper, some people might not like that. Some people say they have quality issues for longer cable runs, my runs were fairly long, and experienced none of those problems. Overall this was a good purchase for someone needing an inexpensive cabling solution!

So far I have not had a single issue with this cable and have 4 security cameras working well on it. As an electrician I am always concerned with the quality of the conductors I use and am not a fan of aluminum in general. I probably would not have purchase this item if I had noticed that it is copper coated aluminum rather than solid copper, The material explains the low price, but having said that it seems like well made cable and again I haven't had any problems with it.

We ran Siamese cables from many years and always we tried to find a good quality and a good price. We purchased from a vendor close by us so we save in the shipping but they are more and more expensive and we tried different brands to find the better one... we understand big brands like Honeywell are the best ones, no matter 2 in 10 boxes the cables got stuck inside the box and we had to open the box to fix it.This Siamese cable from cables direct Online are very good cables so far, flexible, strong, and the 18X2 gauge for power came in a strong plastic skin, similar to the ones from big brands. I personal was surprised how good the cable were. I didn't expect something that good for the price.we purchased; we planning to buy more and more from this company if they keeping the good quality.We installed to test this cables 14 cameras (TVI system) using this cables and they are working perfect, no electrical noise, no ties or stuck inside boxes. we are happy with this cables.
