It is very tough, almost rigid. It delivers full signal to the antenna. Goes just a little further than the original. It's a little harder to work with, but we'll worth the time.

As a ham radio operator, I can never have too much antenna cable. Lol! This 50' cable is well constructed and carries the signal well. It's a little stiff but I'm hoping that means it has good shielding. It allows me to move my antenna quite a ways away (though still inside) to avoid or at least reduce the risk of zapping myself with RF energy. I, and more importantly, my radios are pleased with it!

This cable must have corrugated shielding as it's very stiff RG-8/U. It measured 50Ω and compares favorably with a known good cable, measuring at 1.6 SWR vs 1.5 SWR with the same load on the other end.The jacket has the following writing, and is marked off in meters:HANSEN RG-8/U 50Ω COAXIAL CABLE 12/10/2022 6010110L 0849 CEThe connectors are a little cheap, but they are soldered with a higher quality glue-lined heat shrink tubing. Overall measurement comes to just under 50', so not quite correct there, but not a major ding. I wouldn't use this cable in anything other than a permanent installation.
