This works great in the data card sp55I have e heard tales that Datacard will no longer be a company here soon.Understand they are being absorbed or done away with by the parent company.So grab em while you can I guess. Eventually they are killing all parts and support.Very sad. The sp55 I still use has been an absolute work horse, and this ribbon from Korea works perfectly lNo problems...

When first installing, the printer would send an error code saying it was the wrong type of ribbon even though the description said the ribbon was compatible with my printer. I had to take my old used up roll and use the tail roll off of that and taped on the new ribbon and the head roll on. After that it seems to work well so far.
