This is a really nifty looking light. I was surprised how much light it gives off. I got it to change light colors by opening and closing, only way I found so far. It doesn't want to stay opened flat like a book, I am going to guess time to some way to keep it proped is needed. I took a star off because when folding it all the way back like the pictures showed it made a crack noise. Not sure what cracked but as soon as the noise happened I stopped and put it back to how it was. Hopefully it stays together even after that. It looks really nice.

I love this book lamp! It’s so cute and clever and unique! I like that to turn it on you open it and to turn it off you close it. I like that there are two warm light settings (light settings are changed by opening and closing the book), the dimmer setting makes a nice nightlight. The only complaint I have so far is that it does not lay flat when open as pictured in the listing, I’ve been trying to “train” it to stay open by tucking things over the edges, but it’s hard because it spends more time closed because it has to be closed to turn it off. Overall I love it though, and it’s very on-brand for me as a librarian.
