The rubber sides let the housing shift over bumps and loose aim, I tightened it a decent amount, but if I tighten it anymore something will break, and there is no torque specs provided.Regarding headlight clips, they are extremely easy to use, and the exact same mechanism as what the factory lights use, you'll need needle nose pliers.Amazon was nice about it and helped me out on my end, but keep in mind if you get this.Update - Two weeks priorI ended removing the rubber side for a washer which solved it, however this means no dampening, and rubber inserts in question are too soft for application, which result in them to twist, causing all this to happen.Update -16/05/24All the hardware started to rust, they are not stainless steel. All hardware will be replaced, will be upgrading the bolts holding the aiming mechanism at the same time.

It took me a few minutes to learn how to use the pins... Hooks.... Mounts.... Idk but it took a few minutes to get the pins to hold to light in; simple design and with all the extra wires, even of a pin fails, the wires will keep the light in place

I used this for one of my bikes and at first it seemed like a great investment. However, it pretty quickly deteriorated and started sagging within the first couple weeks of riding with it. Eventually it absolutely would not hold its position, I would have to adjust the housing with my left hand while riding so I could see in front of me at night and it would hold maybe for a couple minutes before pointing straight down. Now if you adjust it, it points down practically right away. This is very dangerous, seek out a product that is made with more quality materials for a few more bucks.

I installed this headlight on a 1975 Honda 400f. The stock light was woefully lacking but all these years I persisted in the name of stock appearance. Now with modern LED lights it is a breeze to change and become much safer. With a bit of research I found the proper unit that bolted right in

This is suppose to be for a Harley, but it’s so easy to modify for any 6.5 inch fitment. High quality.

I used this product for a custom set up in my Honda Shadow and it fit really well. The instructions were a little vague and it took me a few minutes to understand how the clips work for the headlight! Other than that, it’s durable and looks great with a matte black finish

I bought this housing to switch from 7" to 5.75". I was well surprised by quality of the material, feels strong and have no rust or no painted spots. I also bough a new headlight and it fit perfectly, the clips are very strong so there headlamp is tightly coupled to the base.I highly recommend this product.

Housing is pretty flimsy it looses it shape when you tighten it. Also while riding if you hit good bump the housing pops open and the only thing that keeps it closed are the screws that keep the bottom of the housing together. The little notch that keeps the outer and inner housing together is too small. To remedy the situation I used 2 self tapping screws and a piece of wire to hold it together works great now. I definitely wouldn’t buy it again.

I received this housing and it works perfectly. It’s cheap in cost, but does a great job. The paint is solid and there is NO RUST. I would buy this again.
