I got these to put on my daughter's bike so I could steal the black stem covers for the car. They work fine! There's a normal pink stem cover and then the big blocky top that you see in the picture but you can choose to use or not.

I have no idea how I ordered these in pink, because I wanted them in blue, which would have been a good match for my car. Unfortunately since they are pink I didn't wind up leaving them on my tires once I confirmed that they fit with a little cranking.They are actually constructed from two pieces of plastic. The outside is a softer slightly transparent plastic with decorative grooves and a hexagonal shape, and then the inside is an opaque more sturdy piece that has the threads in it, which I know is a smart design move, because the outer material would not have held the threads as well.The pictures show how I charge them up really quickly for about 10 minutes, and while the lights were very bright, they are LED, which seems to do a poor job of charging phosphorescent things.I do have to say the glow looks exaggerated in the picture, because it is exaggerated in the picture. In the picture, they look pretty bright, but to the eye, not so much. However, in reality, these would likely catch a dose of straight up sunshine all day, so you might get more glowy.

This doesn't light up or glow in the dark. Waste of money!
