Adult coloring books are popular now as part of the "self-care" revolution. I've seen a few of these, as I've been getting them for myself and for other ladies who would like to slow down and have a break to return to a real joy of childhood: simply coloring.A trend within THAT trend are coloring books that employ some swearing. That's fun, too. I found, with these, that there really wasn't a ton of it. I tried to share images that weren't in the ad. I found a few typos that made these interesting/even funny. I also found a lot of the images to be very encouraging. Finally - many were simply lovely florals. The emphasis felt more on happiness than anger or being mean. That feels pretty good. The price on these was reasonable. Adult coloring books can cost plenty. I picked up one that was well over $20. Granted, it was a sturdy volume, but still. This "one" is a two book set, and comes with a thick card to put behind your current design page to help avoid bleed through, so you can truly go to town with markers, etc.Umm, there are swear words. There are some typos. There are also some pretty illustrations. It's $6.99 for two books! It's my opinion that you can't lose here. Have fun!

A great deal, where you get two coloring books for the price of one. The "Maybe Coloring Will Help" book consists of cartoon animal images on a backdrop of flora/fauna imagery. Inspirational messages are the titles of each image. The "Cuss & Coloring" book consists of three images with foul language, while the rest are mild commentary such as "Don't be a prick" on mostly flora/fauna imagery. This book is great for letting out steam after a frustrating day. The book sizes are small enough to fit a medium size purse for portability. I used marker on one of the images and the enclosed stock card to prevent bleed through and found that the pages are thick enough that the marker did not bleed through on the back. The paper is great quality and the covers have a semi matte finish and sturdiness that screams quality. The only issue is that the "Cuss & Coloring" book contained two repeated images back to back. A minor printing or sorting issue but worth noting. The images are easy to color and not that busy to make a relaxing activity overwhelming. Great purchase.

The designs are nice. These are best with fine tipped markers or pencils. The details are a bit too fine for crayons. One of the books is called "Cuss and Coloring" and is supposed to have adult content (words, not images). It's pretty mild in those terms with just too questionable words. The books are printed well and the spiral bindings makes it easy to keep the pages open while coloring.

I think this coloring book set is fun. I love the size of the pads, not too big or too small. The price point is generous for two full books. It falls a bit short on some of the pics, as some are very juvenile with typos, but most of them are decent and right up my alley.

These aren't adult level in terms of complexity - just a few are adult in words. Only a few good pages are in these books and they are the pictures examples. Not very good adult coloring for how much it costs.

Coloring as an adult can be very helpful when you have a lot going on in your head. It’s gives you chance to slow down and focus on something else in way that’s easy and a reminder of childhood.I like adult coloring books due to the more intricate drawings that need color. However there are times when I don’t feel like coloring in the lines and want a less difficult picture to color in.The book tilted “Maybe Coloring Will Help” is a vast mixture of drawings to color. Some may not look very adult where others do which I think is great for the reasons I mentioned. A few with little sayings the rest a mix of sweet animals , well drawn flowers and more. The “Cuss & Coloring” book really doesn’t have many “cuss” words in it. This book wants you to let go and do whatever makes you feel good while coloring. They give you a space at the back to do your own creation. This book does have some nice drawings along with some pages that have little sayings some inspirational others empowering. Both books have a kind message from the author on the inside flap and it seems they included a thicker piece of paper that you can place behind the picture you’re coloring to prevent any damage to the next page. A little touch like that really stands out.4 stars only because of some repetition and a phrase in one of the books I personally don’t feel is helpful to anyone.Aside from they are two very sweet adult coloring books.I am happy with this purchase and look forward to do some coloring very soon !!

Very cute coloring books. It comes with a piece of card stock to put under the page you’re coloring. I like the spiral bound. The books are about 9”x8”. A lot of the pictures have sayings, in case that bothers you. The drawings are cute, not an extreme amount of detail. Fun variety of different things to color.
