Only little bit hard while pressing it for sustain. Actually I have been playing in church, I don't ware shoe but bare feet I sit in church. If I use shoe then it's alright. Very portable to carry. Looks very stylish.

It’s a little bigger than the usual sustainer but it looks good

Grazie

This one is good! It's good tension and the large size make it easy to step on. I got tired of the smaller pedals that keep slipping when stepped on it from an angle. Your feet will rest nicely on this pedal and you will just enjoy playing your keyboard. Press down gently on it and you will not hear any pedal noise. If you slap down hard on it, you will hear the plastic clicking.

The pedal works, but doesn't work as well. It requires a deeper pump to "click" the sustain off. I play classical music that requires complex, precise sustain patterns. Good pedaling is necessary for the overall sound. It's a mystery to me why Alesis would make it more difficult with an insensitive switch. And sell it for more than $50!Glad I still have the original pedal. I guess I'll have to use it until it fails.

Cheap and durable. I go through sustain pedals like water, tried the M-AUDIO ones and they died in days. The Yamaha ones seems to last longest, but my high-priced board doesn't have a damper polarity switch and the Yamahas are the reverse. For normal players, this will last long. Being the masher/stomper that I am, I get a few every year.

It worked just fine. The only thing that concerned me was the construction. It seems like its made tol ast for like 3 years with heavy use maybe. Alesis makes good products, just not the most durable unfortunately.

Didn't want one of those big pedals and wanted a board one. This one is quiet, slim, and does the job well. Didn't like their keybaords, but this is a good pedal.

Bought a different pedal that had many reviews and almost 5 stars, it felt loud cheap. Love this one, it is quiet and feels very well built. It also has a larger pad and is slimmer. For someone that doesn't want a full-weighted piano-style pedal, I'd highly recommend this. Dual polarity is extremely uselful.
