These are basically solid little rubber balls with feathers inserted. They are notably heavier than the typical cat toy. My two active cats (less than 10 lbs) were a bit confused with how to carry them at first, then resorted to carrying them around by the feathers. A larger cat would easily be able to carry them by the ball itself. My much older less active cat found the feathers needed to be groomed. No guarantee on how your cat might perceive them, never is.Slight cautions:1. Like any feathered toy, the feathers can be pulled out. They are well secured, but not inseparable.2. The added weight could be hazardous if your cat is a toy thrower. These could potentially knock something off of a shelf with any velocity.3. They stink a bit when first opened. After a day, the smell isn't noticeable and doesn't come back when the cats get them 'slobbery' with play.

These are bouncy balls with feathers attached to them. Best of all, the feathers keep the balls from rolling under doors and chairs, etc to keep them from getting lost.Three cats and three toys means no waiting for playtime. It really does take very little to make your cat happy. Good food, much love and plenty of playtime/exercise. Feather toys are a big plus in my house.
