I had a difficult time finding a nice way to mount to the LG monitor stand as it was thick and curved. The connection from the clamp to the connector is not as stiff as I would prefer, and while it doesn't hurt anything, it does wobble around when you adjust cables or the clamp. Other than that quality is great, and I like the way that it mounts to the Anker hub.

Though it looks nice and works straightforward, the ball joint is too weak to hold the docking station straight.

The ball joint cannot handle the weight of the 778 even before any cables are attached without drooping. This may work fine for the smaller docks, and it isn't like it isn't secure, it doesn't feel like it will just fall apart or anything, but it certainly won't hold the 778 in any specific position. This could have been resolved with a way to lock the ball joint from movement, but as things stand now. not for me. 2 stars because build quality seems fine, and it does look nice.Unfortunately, for my uses, I will be returning this one though.

This allowed me to get my hub off the desk and out of the way. Easy to mount and allows many configurations.

I got this to attach an Anker Nano to a bed leg. It works pretty well except that if it gets an occasional gentle tug, eventually it loosens and pops off the leg. It's really the only attachment I could find that would work with the Nano, otherwise I'd be looking for a replacement now. I suppose I will put this in an "it will do" classification for my particular use.EDIT: I just received a note from Anker wanting to make this right and have added a star for excellent Customer Service (so rare these days!). I was truly surprised that they noticed me at all, but pleasantly so. For years I have turned to Anker first for high quality products and still do. This one item didn't work for me, but it may work quite well for you. Thank you, Anker!
