I had to already get a new one. This is already bad on my vehicle.

It works fine, but doesn't come with screws. Seems good. Not 5 stars because it didn't come with screws.

Got this in October 2019 and it's already making the death noise in January 2023. Just be aware that the life on these probably will be an issue at some point.

The gate on our Jeep Liberty 2011 (Sport) would not lock, and if opened when the other doors were locked, the alarm would go off. We finally had enough embarrassment, so bought this. I followed the video that was here within Amazon, which wasn’t of our exact vehicle but was enough to figure out. The gate door locks and we no longer have to worry about opening the gate before checking that the car is unlocked.

Product worked as advertised! Fit my 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport (KK). Tailgate wouldn’t lock/unlock (or open at all). Once I got it open, this replacement of the actuator was pretty easy. This part cost me $100 than an auto parts store wanted. Can’t comment on how long it will last but I’m happy so far.

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee it works! Had intermittent not opening for a few months. Then one day not opening at all. Did research and found this may be the issue. I'm a novice and poor and no other options. Easy to install...watch a few YouTube videos on how to remove the back cover. Some are very detailed and walk you through the process. Its been 1 month and works perfectly!

My 2012 Jeep Patriot's liftgate door stopped working and I needed a cheap solution to restore function of the liftgate. Many of the other parts that I could find locally were priced over $95 which is very expensive. This liftgate actuator fits well and does the job for a third of the cost! Don't spend your money on more expensive parts. Installation was simple and took about 30 minutes. All that is needed to get to the actuator is removal of the plastic panel. Once off, you can easily get to the actuator and remove the two screws/cable to swap the parts.
