Junk. Not even enough power to actuate when pre-testing before installation in car. Checked circuit with different style actuator, operated no problem.

Absolute horrible product. It worked during test with no load. So I installed it. Would not actuate the lock lever on the latch. Tested the circuit, and it was fine. Tried the other lock actuator in the kit, just as weak. Bought a Dorman actuator, tested it, works. Installed the Dorman, lock works perfect. Don't get stung with these. Get a Dorman.

Would not actuate to do the job it was purchased for. Had tried another set for a different application and they were junk also. Don’t waste your time, wound up going to pick and pull and getting used factory parts, they worked perfect!

'91 Ford F150 first one took me about an hour, second one took about 5 minutes. The pins are a huge pain but probably still easier than the original OEM parts which have miniscule bearing balls that need to be perfectly set. Recommend having small hands. Mine and most others are mounted with rivets, have a plan to remove them and remount. Set came with the proper arms but they connect differently than the originals so make sure it comes with the arms you need. Have had them in for quite a while and still work great.

Fit like an OEM part, and worked just fine. Kind of surprised at some of the negative feedback. My latches are firm, and this still opens and closes the lock instantly. I was a bit concerned that my application wasn't listed on the manufacture's listing, but it fit perfectly...

Compared to stock ford actuators these do not have the power to unlock or lock door. The boot and rod extensions are useful to add to an old junk yard actuator

I bought these actuators for my 88 mustang lx. Installed one the driver side door. It would not work. Door lock would not even work with the key. Removed actuator and key lock and manual lock all work fine. The new actuator is too stiff, too much resistance

They seem a bit weaker the the originals. One door has a bit of a difficult time unlocking with these.

No instructions or rivet included. This review is for the 1991 F250:Use a panel tool when removing your door panels. The 30 year old plastic fasteners are very hard and inflexible. UNSCREW the faceplate from the power window bezel, and remove the panel. You don't need to pull the lower panel but it's easy and it helps. Then remove 1 bolt and push the window runner out of the way.At this point I drilled out the F250s flanged door rivet (#8). I didn't have a replacement rivet so I used a nut/bolt combo, 1/4 inch diameter, nut and lock washer on the outside, and ground off the extra bolt length when finished. I probably should have used loctite. (If I had to do it again I would consider reusing the old bracket so I wouldn't have to deal with the fasteners.)Then remove the electrical connector and remove the actuator, with (or without) the old bracket. Reinstall in reverse order. You have to pick from among about 5 extension rods to adapt the actuator to your vehicle. Use the LONGEST one for the F250. Secures with a roll pin, included.Otherwise, pretty straightforward.Update: I downgraded my review because the door lock actuator is very weak, esp in cold weather. Barely pushes up the lock knob. I may need to replace this too. But it does fit so I gave it three stars.

Reasonable delivery time. Items came packaged nicely, actuators are made in china if you're wondering. Quality is likely comparable to all the other aftermarket ones out there. I've only had a chance to install one at this time, but it pops quick just like the factory one!
