I purchased a SmatFarm G6 140W Aquarium Light recently. Didnโt work out of the box, I contacted them. Their customer Service response by email was prompt! They explained to me that because of tariffs and other trade disputes they will not be able to replace it with a replacement from China; however, they coordinated with Amazon to send me a new one! They kept me informed every step of the way.Needless to say the light is phenomenal, worth every penny. A perfect fit for my reef tank. I highly recommend and commend SamtFarm for their tireless dedication to customer and customer experience with their product.

Awesome marine light for a reasonable price. I'm not an expect, this went onto my first marine tank and I only had starter corals, but what I had did well. It's all I could afford at the time and I'm glad I got it, should be all that matters. Menu was not super intuitive, but that might just be me getting old.

This light works really well, I used to have a maxspec light but it was too big for my new tank so I bought this one. If youโve used maxspec lights before it has a very similar interface but this light comes with a remote and is easy to set the light schedule with. This was a great value for the price, is bright enough and fits my 24โx24โ cube tank really well.

Works great for a light at this pricepoint. Plenty bright, I even had to turn them down cause my corals were closing up. Can sync multiple of them together. Does not get hot at all, and the fans are quiet unless you have it at really high brightness. I'm sure you can get better colors and shimmer from more expensive lights, but is that really worth paying sometimes over a thousand more when these still look really good and can grow coral just fine?I don't like that 1% brightness is still really bright, it spooks the fish sometimes when it turns off. I also wish you could have multiple timer settings. It would be nice to be able to have the timer start at different times on different days of the week. The internal clock also shifts quicker than other clocks, I've had these for 4 months and the clock has shifted about 10 minutes off, not a huge deal. Still works the same as the day I got it though.

I got rid of my last reef tank about 12 yrs ago. Back then I had to use 4 110w vho bulbs, two metal halide bulbs and separate led moon lights. The heat generated by all this was one of the reasons I got out of the reef business. I even had to buy a chiller. ALL of that lighting ability is included in this ONE light. Absolutely incredible.I read some of the reviews and watched some videos from current owners, most seemed to not like using the remote. Personally I prefer using the remote. Just make SURE that anytime you adjust any of the preset settings, you go back to MODE SELECT and click on the one you want because it will default back to LPS if you don't.I've got a 36 gal bowfront this time and it is still a pretty new setup so I am still in a wait and see as far as brightness is concerned. I backed all the colors off about 10% from the default setting and the corals are puffing up much better than on the factory default. As for height: Mine is about 11 inches above the water.

This was recommended by my local pet store as this is what they have on all their SPS & LPS frag tanks. The physical part of the light is designed very well and easy to put together and install. I personally had a bit of a challenge getting the digital side of this, however, I am 60. After a few patient โreadsโ into the instructions, I got it set to one of the default timers. The remote interfaces just OK as sometimes it doesnโt read the remote button input to the face of the light. However, This light made a world of difference for the appearance (color spectrum, brightness) of my tank. The sunset/sunrise mode of this light is fascinating to watch. As advertised, it really is very quite as well. No issues so far.

No le pide nada a las lรกmparas super caras. Funciona de maravilla y lo mรกs importante es que los corales estรกn muy a gusto con el espectro de luz; se mantienen sanos y creciendo.
