My 6-year-old loves all things golden! These are no exception. Every time they're clean, they are the first thing she wears. They have real pockets! The elastic waist is comfortable. Over time, some of the shiny golden layer has worn off the fabric.

These are a very vibrant and shiny pair of gym or dance shorts. They fit my 10-year-old daughter well around the waist, but they are a bit poofy below the waist especially when she lifts her leg, so she doesn't like that look. She loves the color though. The fabric is also noisy when she moves in them and she doesn't like that. They have pockets, which is nice, but the material in them is really slippery and yet sticky to each other.

Make sure you don't wash these in the washer. They are hand-wash only. They held up great when hand-wash. The only problem we had was the leg holes being very big. My baby still wore a diaper so not that big of a deal but if she wore underwear, I would be more concerned.
