The Artificial Boston Fake Fern Plants are truly beautiful realistic plants. I am beyond happy with them. It is a large set of ferns, and each individual section is large and full. They are absolutely perfect to border artificial flowers in my window box. They are easy to bend to spread them out and arrange them the way you like them. I only spent a few minutes on them to arrange them around the perimeter of my window box. With such little time to arrange them, they have created a gorgeous frame of greenery to make the artificial flowers in my window box look so much more realistic. (See photo 1) I even had some left over to put in 2 seagrass baskets with artificial flowers I have hanging on the wall of my porch. (see photo 2).I absolutely love the Artificial Boston Fake Fern Plants, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Wow, you really get a lot of stems! They have a strong plasticky smell when first opened, but that seems to have subsided. Unfortunately, they are so squashed in the bag, that they’re very bent over. And it’s the plastic leaf itself, not the wire part, so you can’t just ’bend it back’. I’m hoping with time they may straighten up a bit.So, as far as using them to make a full ‘Boston Fern’, with straight fronds, it’s doubtful because of the bend. So instead, I used them as green background ’filler’, and it looks pretty cute!Good news is, these things are hearty enough to last outside through our harsh winters, in my protected area. And there are plenty for several projects.

I recently received these "Artificial Boston Fake Fern Plants Bushes 20Packs Faux Plants Shrubs Greenery UV Resistant for Garden House Office Indoor Outdoor Décor" and they're going to be perfect for my front flowerbed when I redo it in a month or two.I gave up on "real" plants in my front flowerbed this year and replaced everything with faux greenery and flowers. The initial theme when I did the redo was "spring," but as we get closer to the height of summer with fall around the corner, I've been mocking up my plan for how to re-dress the flowerbed to carry it through until Christmastime, for which I have a full-on holiday-themed plan. But what to do for the gap between now and then? FERNS!These are great because they're small clusters of fern fronds. They can be grouped together and make a reasonably impressive single plant, but if you use them as mix-in pieces with other foliage and flowers, they really add a ton of perceived volume. You can make a pretty small plant look much more robust by adding a "skirt" of fern fronds around it, and for those "statement" flowers (EXL bird of paradise), having some lush-looking greenery at the base of the stem is always a nice touch. The ferns become "background" in a way, but add layers of texture and volume that plain moss can't really provide.I ordered these specifically because 1) they're ferns and ferns are super versatile for this type of project, and 2) because these pieces are UV-resistant. My front flower bed gets full sun and in the afternoon, the front of the house is on fire. Sadly, my preferred flowerbed greenery isn't full-sun-loving at all, and my attempts to grow actual plants in the space has been fruitless (ha). But artificial greenery like this allows me to get the LOOK I wanted without the constant hassle of trying to keep the plants alive. These fern stems had a very chemical-rich smell when they first arrived, but letting them air out for a couple of days did the trick. I might be more critical of that if I planned to use these indoors, but since they're destined to bask in the afternoon sun here in a few weeks, they're fine. The smell isn't overwhelming, just not terribly pleasant. Don't worry though, it should dissipate quickly enough. This bundle of 20 fern pieces was priced at $19.99 when I ordered. They're decent quality as far as I can tell and I'm looking forward to having them refresh the look of my flowerbed for the summer as we go into autumn.Happy to recommend!

These artificial plants really look artificial and cheap looking. There are more realistic artificial plants that look better. There is also an odor which I can't describe so I would suggest putting these outside because of that reason. The only good thing is that you do get plenty of stems, so they will do good as fillers with other plants but don't alone.

This set of 20 ferns arrived neatly sealed in plastic and boxed. The ferns are light weight with a lightweight plastic feel. They don't look real up close but when placed in a grouping in a natural setting do look realistic. They appear durable enough to withstand the elements.
