Works well now, hope they hold up. Can’t twist the cups too tight or they’ll snap right off
Great tank, easy too use

Kit was packaged very well. All the parts that were to go together were bundled. Made it pretty easy to follow along with the instructions. Also came with the correct hole saw bits to get the install done.Soon found out that there is no way to connect a water hose up to the kit. Looks like it was meant to be connected through a hose with no fitting “tubing”.Also the thread tape seemed a bit cheap so I decided not to use it. Had some pipe tape in the shop that I used.

I chose this as part of a plan to provide fresh water to our flock of hens. It worked out great and hens have fresh water constantly. Set a water line to the "bucket" and it is completely hands free. Once in a while I may have to replace a waterer cup, but all in all a great method for constant clean water to the hens.

The cups work great. The pipes fit loosely in the fittings requiring you to glue them. Standard pvc glue doesn't work. Every is odd sized, possibly metric, so impossible to get replacement fittings.

I ended up getting some more PVC and a 2x4 to mount the water cups higher from the ground to keep them cleaner. After reading reviews, yes the PVC isn’t 1/2” but it states that in the description. I also read that it leaks due to it being loose, yes the PVC was loose but all I had to go was get some PVC Cement at Lowe’s and it doesn’t leak. I also got a 5 gallon bucket at Lowe’s with a lid.I have 2 concerns but have some time to figure it out.1. What is the best way to clean it?2. How can I heat it up during the winter so it doesn’t freeze?

Great overall purchase. I have had this installed in my chicken coop for a few months now and it works great, and I have had no issues since it has been installed. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I had to purchase an adapter to hook it up to a regular garden hose. Not a major issue, just wish it had the adapter included. Other than that, the assembly was easy and my chickens are happy. I was also able to mount it on the panel that separates my coops allowing me to place the drinking cups on both sides. Both coops now have water all the time, without having to worry about them running out!

This water is amazing idea but is COMPLETELY useless. This kit come with everything you think you would need… but after 4 trips to the hardware store I’ve just thrown it in the trash… I’m so fed up with it I don’t even care about sending it back for a refund.First off: the pipes are an odd size and they do not glue well to seal and leak like crazy. I couldn’t even get to stop leaking to test the system.Second: a standard garden hose is 3/4 and this kit requires a 1/2 garden hose. So you have to make a crazy adapter to make it work. And so on and so on… look I’m very mechanically inclined, and have had chickens for years (50 laying hens and sometimes more depending) and this thing has been a nightmare. I’ll just go back to my old waterer and forget about this kit.If you know what’s best for you self you will choose a different one or a different system for watering.
