This did the job in the quality that was satisfactory for me. It got the job done and I am happy with the outcome. It did create a heavy door feel, even when loosened as much as I can. May not be suitable for the doors of people who have mobility issues

The measurements provided in the instruction sheet were right on and made the installation of this unit easy. I marked the attaching hole centres as per the instructions, drilled the holes in door and frame, installed the door closer with hardware provided and made adjustments for rate of closing, all with relative ease. Have not had this item for very long so I cannot comment on the long term quality. However, it seems to be well built. I installed this item on a house door that leads to the outdoors.
