I have been hunting these decoys for 4 years. They are by far the best looking decoys out there. My friends always are in shock when i get them to decoy and sit like waterfowl with these. Also at least once a year a hawk bombs out of the sky and tries to steal one. When i first found these they were half the price, but since then have been discontinued by GHG and doubled. This order was just to get a stockpile going so after they disappear for good i can hunt with them for years to come. Cant even look qt the other brands seriously and hunting these. Pro tip: the 6 slot wine bottle bags the wife shops with make excellent and cheap decoy bags for these.

I'm so glad I bought these. They look twice as good as the ones my local hardware store carries, and for about the same price I got 6 of these (instead of a 4 pack of the other brands). First time out on the season opener and I actually had a Hawk take one out of the tree! Thankfully the Hawk dropped it as soon as the branch broke, but I was still amazed that it even grabbed it. Anyway, no idea how the paint will hold up since they've new, and I imagine the clips will fail eventually, but there's an eyelet on their backs so if the clip dies, I can hang em with fishing line. My only complaint is that by the time I noticed a dove today, it had slid right in and roosted in my decoys. More than a few times, I had to physically get out of my chair, take a few steps and yell at the birds to flush them for a shot.

Its been about 30 years since I hunted doves. I actually bought these decoys to put in my chicken yard to deter (or redirect/distract) hawks. We've been hit hard in recent years by mostly sharp shinned and coopers hawks killing chickens (like a chicken or two a week) during the fall and spring hawk migrations. My idea is to use the dove decoys (and some old goose decoys) to attract the hawks to the decoys instead of attacking the fast moving chickens - or at least giving the chickens a couple of seconds to take cover. I haven't actually seen an attack on the decoys but I have seen a hawk dive bomb the chicken yard and then pull up at the last second near the doves. The doves are realistic looking. Hopefully, hawks will think so. I have the alligator clips attached to the chicken yard fence and to wires staked in to the ground. Time will tell. If we can make it through fall, winter and spring without too many hawk related chicken deaths, I'll buy some more and give it more stars. For the price, this seemed like a good experiment.
