I'm unwilling to ding the product because I failed to think through everything. So I'm giving them the 4 stars they are due. I ordered these because my hub's bathroom (which has a double vanity) needed a stopper replaced. I ordered the two-pack because it is a double-sink vanity and I wanted it to match. What I failed to think about is this (again, not the fault of the product) my husband's vanity had stoppers that were toggled with a rod located behind his faucets. These work well, but now there is a rod that does nothing behind his faucets. It's very counterintuitive now. Instinct would tell you to use the stopper release located behind the faucets, not to push the drain cover.

This attractive stopper provides a tight seal and effectively drains water, while preventing items from going down the drain. The stopper operates smoothly and provides a gap of about 1/8 inch. The narrow gap prevents many items from going down the drain. Anything getting past the gap can be caught by the filter basket. Although the gap is narrow, it effectively drains water. One liter of water took less than 20 seconds to drain. The stopper can be easily removed and reinserted when cleaning the sink, drain or stopper.
