Don't know how long ago my mom's sink stopper broke, but when the plumber came to fix her stopped up drain, I discovered the problem. So I bought one of these, because otherwise she just had to dig the stopper out with her finger nail every time she wanted to let the water run out. EW, right? I was worried about this fitting, but it was fine. It comes w/ a rubber seal that you can put around it, and it was easy for her to use. We peeled the blue film off the center portion, popped it in, and voila! Problem solved. There is a plastic cap on the bottom that you have to take off, FYI, but that wasn't much of a hassle either. It does not have a hair trap, but she doesn't wash her hair or a dog in this sink I'm talking about, so the plumber who was there said there was very little hair down there, and I'm sticking with that. Most of the goo that blocked it last time was tooth paste. But I'm not gonna tell a 91 year old lady that she should use less. Let her have fresh breath, OK? Again, I'm not a plumber, but this was easy to install into my mom's sink from the '70s. And if I can do it, anybody can do it. Great and economical replacement if you've got sink drain issues. A++ Also arrived quickly, and economically shipped in a small cardboard box. Very happy customer.

Very slick and a perfect fit for my sink. It even comes with an additional sized ring that would help seal different sized drain holes. The one that was on it already was the right one for me. I like how slick it looks, it's flush in the sink when it's pushed in the stopper position, and look slick and clean when up. Perfect, looks like it was suppose to be part of my sink. The color and weight look like good quality and the feel is solid, so I don't have to worry about it breaking anytime in the near future.
