This rechargable stage light really surprised me at how nice it is. It was super easy to get set up and working with the app. It can also be controlled with the remote or built in buttons, but there are more features in the app. The lights are nice and bright and can do so many patterns. The light is smaller made, but pruduces awesome light effects. This light can be used just sitting on a floor, or it can be mounted to a wall, ceiling or even a light stand.

o test the battery capacity, I fully charged the light fixture overnight. I made sure that the AC wall power supply had a green LED to confirm that the light fixture internal battery was fully charged. I left the "special Menu LED Power" at factory initial setting of 200 for all 6 LED bead colors (RBGWUA), and also turned off the 2.4G & IR communications, then set the "CL" value to 32 (for all LEDs on full), and no strobe. Under these conditions, the battery lasted almost 5 hours. The best part is, you can still connect the AC wall charger while it is on (unlike some other fixtures).The second battery test was performed after a full night of charging, and the 2.4F WiFI, IR Communications "ON". In addition, the "Power Limit" was raised for all colors to be 255. The front plate got hotter than the previous test, but not much more, and the case became very warm as well. Under these conditions, with "CL" value of 32 (all LEDs on full) , the battery lasted 3-1/2 hours. Once again, even with the battery fully depleted the fixture can safely remain on while sing the AC wall charger.While the Amazon listing has a section that states, "Charges in 1-3 hours Lasts up to 3-6 hours)", which is very inaccurate! Another section states "Charges to 90% in 5 hours (Recommend charging over 5 hours) Lasting time up to 3-6 hours (Duration varies depending on lighting mode or color mix).....which. far more accurate. I did find that charging from a completely drained battery required in excess of 7-hours.The IR remote control was very, very good and had a range in excess of 50-feet. Best IR control I have ever used.The App control via WiFi was a little difficult to setup on my phone, even given multiple versions of directions supplied (probably due to other lighting apps previously installed, including an older version of this one). Don't forget to turn-off any auto reconnect to your home, or venue WiFi router. Eventually it worked well. Some of the controls and setting are not relevant and do nothing, but overall it does what it should.The manual control is extremely thorough in what the fixture can do (see attached pix) and has very granular control options, including "Advanced Parameter Settings" which include the limitation of current settings (mine was set to 200 for each LED bead color) and a host of other options that you probably never use...and I have not idea what they do!DMX control works very well, and follows the User Manual perfectly. It is very rare, but it is VERY complete with respect to documenting the channel-9 values for each of the macro types. KUDOS! Usually, it takes over an hour to putz around with a fixture to document on your own what these values are and assign a description. If you do DMX control, and like using built-in macros, the User Manual complete detailed documentation will make you very happy.2.4G works with commonly available 2.4G dongles (transmitter on your DMX controller or computer, and matching the built-in 2.4G code color on this fixture) works perfectly. It has the usual 7 color/frequencies to choose from in case of interference with someone else's wireless lighting control.This fixture uses industry standard 6 colored bead LEDs that are often rated at 3watts per bead (i.e. 3x6=18watts per LED x 6 LEDs=108watts total for the fixture if not power limited)). If you look straight into the face of the fixture on CL=32, you will believe the numbers! The LED face plate does get fairly warm, but the remainder of the fixture remains cool (at the default factory power limit of 200). I hope that this power does not shorten the lifespan of the LEDs as I could not see any heat sink grease on either the extruded aluminum cooling fins, or between the LED body and the aluminum mounting plate. I can only hope that the body of the LED is soldered to the plate to conduct the heat away in absence of the heatsink grease.Summary: Simply fabulous, and a this price point, incredible. Amazing control options and light output.
