These batteries fit my Makita tools perfectly. They are well made with a precision plastic top that matches the tool exactly and snaps into place with a satisfying "click". Once in place, they stay put, even with heavy tool usage and vibration.I really like the LED display that shows the state of charge. You can know exactly how much juice is left in the battery before you go to do a job and you can charge them up and check the state of charge to make sure they are full. They charge properly in the standard Makita 18v battery charger. These batteries are 6 amp hours, so they have enough power for heavy jobs using my largest Makita tools. The built in protections offer a good deal of peace of mind so that I can charge these batteries without worrying excessively. They work as well as, or even a little better than, my original Makita batteries.

I don't have a clear way to measure it, but looking at the 5.0Ah genuine and 3rd party version, this 6.0Ah batteries are the practically the exact same size. The construction appears to be well made, although the plastic feels a little less heavy duty than the real thing. I will say that given the price difference, unless you are a professional, these are absolutely worth their price, even if you had to replace a battery or two down the line. To be clear, the plastic doesn't feel cheap, just less rugged than the genuine brand. They worked without issues, and charging was not a problem either, using 2 different branded chargers.I have no issues recommending these. Good value, great quality.

These work perfectly with my cordless angle grinder (my only Makita tool so far). It's not the most powerful tool to test against, but the battery life is good, performance is as expected, and the price can't be beat.

I just received this 2 battery pack. One battery is good the second one has no power and won’t take a charge.

★★★★★ Reliable Pre-Charged Power for Makita 18V ToolsThis replacement Makita 18V 6.0Ah battery arrived fully pre-charged and worked immediately in my BL1860B-compatible drill with no issues. The fit is perfect, just like OEM, and the LED charge indicator is a useful addition for monitoring power levels.Key Features That Stand Out:✔ 6.0Ah High Capacity – Noticeably longer runtime than my original 5.0Ah Makita battery✔ Wide Compatibility – Works flawlessly with my Makita LXT drill, impact driver, and circular saw✔ Smart LED Indicator – Clear visibility of remaining charge at the press of a button✔ Sturdy Build – Feels solid with no loose connections or cheap plasticSince it’s pre-charged, I was able to test it right away, and performance so far matches the description—strong, consistent power with no early drop-offs. The claim of 1000+ charge cycles is promising, but I’ll update this review if longevity becomes an issue. For now, highly recommended as a cost-effective, high-capacity alternative to OEM. If it holds up over time, this could be a go-to replacement for Makita 18V users. Will report back after extended use!

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $79.99 with a 15% off coupon being provided by the seller. Pricing is well on point thanks to the 15% off coupon offering as well as the fact it comes in a double/combo pack and at 6A 18V.Overall comes in a reasonable design but like most off-branded aftermarket units it’s made of the more basic plastic type materials which is fine as it’s still reasonably sturdy but generally not comparable to OEM in terms of exterior design. Fits the intended groove and works as you should otherwise expect.Appreciate it comes with an LED light battery indicator built in and generally performs very similar to the original with little distinguishable different as far as I can tell.Works decent and makes for a decent budget alternative from likely higher OEM costing equivalents. Offers a good amount of power delivery and lasts a good while based on the size. I like that that the capacity allows for longer durational use.

Got this 2pack of batteries for a Makita compatible paint sprayer I have. These are meant to be equivalent to the Makita BL1860B which weighs 1.5lbs based on official specs. These weigh about 1.2lbs in comparison, a 20% weight reduction, so if eliminating the weight of the housing I would estimate the batteries weigh maybe 30% less, which might translate to a likely 40%-50% battery capacity reduction as these battery packs are very likely using lower grade 18650 cells as well. The price however is massively lower. For the cost of one official Makita BL1860B, you could buy 7 of these, and always have one or several spares in the charger to switch when you need to.If you're the DIY type you could even pop these open and replace the 18650 cells yourself with higher grade Samsung or Sanyo cells to match the quality of the official Makita batteries at a fraction of the cost. You would need a spot welder in order to combine the cells into an 18v pack though.Used these for spraying my fence and they worked great for that task. Neighbor is handling their side so I only had to worry about my side. Batteries came fully charged out of the box so I didn't even need to charge them up before using. Ended up completing the job without even needing a charger, though I do need to get one now to recharge these. If you aren't fiercely brand loyal, these batteries will work fine as a substitute for the official batteries. They might lack a bit in quality, but they make up for it a lot in value. A two pack of these are needed to equal the capacity of one official battery, but it's less than 1/3 the cost.

I have multiple Makita battery tools, ranging from band saws, impact drivers, 36v trimmers and hedge trimmers, so I am always looking for a good deal and value on the batteries.Compared to my genuine 4ah batteries, these 6ah batteries are slightly lighter (19.4oz vs 22.4oz), the plastic feels slightly inferior and the battery eject mechanism doesn't have as much resistance to it.They came fully charged and promptly tested them in my 36v (2x18v) string trimmer. The functionality and fit was on par with my genuine 4ah batteries, making it through the same acreage as the 4ah, with some additional charge left. These batteries also seem to charge well using the genuine dual Makita DC18RD fast charger and the single battery slow charger. Overall these are a great value battery, time will tell on longevity compared to the genuine Makita batteries. For the comparison photos, this battery is on the left and the genuine battery is on the right.

These Makita replacement 18V batteries are clones of the 6Ah battery I use for my Makita garden shears. The only differences are cosmetic; Leyootoolelec’s battery has a green lighted charge level gauge, whereas my old battery has a red gauge. Leyootoolelec’s batteries have a dark-yellow charger door center guide, and my old battery has a light-yellow guide. The rest is the same, giving me confidence that these new batteries will perform just as well as the battery I’ve depended on these last few years.Leyootoolelec’s batteries came fully charged, but I tried them in my DC18RC charger anyway to see if they would take a charge. The charger chimed as it should, then proceeded to analyze the battery's condition, and began charging, at all times, showing the appropriate lights and making the appropriate sounds.I have a 21V off-branded leaf blower and am happy to note that these two Makita replacement batteries fit that tool as well. Despite the difference in operating voltage, there’s no difference in the blower’s air strength. That blower has the problem of quickly using up its 2Ah 21V battery; now I have 2 batteries that can be substituted for it, which gives me more working time and negates the wait for its battery to recharge.Leyootoolelec makes a good battery that, for me, is surprisingly versatile.
