Much needed beside reading light for our guest room. We live in an old craftsman house with limited lighting. I needed a reading light for our guest bedroom, but didn’t want to have to wire it in. This light is rechargeable, so no wiring, and light brightness is adjustable. The light itself is held onto the lampshade by magnets, so you can remove the light and easily recharge it. And it’s also useful to remove the light from the shade and use it to locate dropped items or whatever. Comes with two sets of hanging hooks to fit most bed frames.

This is a perfectly fine reading light, but does not work well with my bed frame. This is best suited to taller headboards. The lamp shade is generally in my way at night, whether reading or sleeping.I otherwise like the concept of this lamp. The way the light attaches magnetically to the shade is handy. The controls are simple and intuitive, through I wish there were a charge indicator. The lampshade itself looks nice and matches our decor.

I have an old fashioned metal bed from the 1920's and I have looked far and wide for an over the headboard reading light to install on my headboard. Most of the lights that I found were designed for today's modern (skinny) headboards and would not fit my metal headboard so when I saw this sweet little lamp and that it came with two different sized mounts, I decided to take the chance and get it. I am so glad that I did - because it fits my fat headboard perfectly! In addition to fitting my headboard, it also looks really charming and like something out of a Nick and Nora Charles movie from the 1930's as it hangs there in its' white, pleated shade and vintage style! The light is remarkably well designed with the reading light being easily detached to be plugged in and charged. The light to read by is controlled by a remote to allow you to chose the warmth and brightness of the light as well as either turn it off as you will or use the timer to turn it off automatically when you fall asleep. The light is extremely well designed, executed and is very functional - especially for those of us who like to read in bed!

Really clever reading light, for those with amenable headboards. (Two different sized hanging clips are provided.) Doesn’t have fancy light colors, just exactly what you might need while lounging in bed: three shades of white light (warm, cool, white) and three levels of brightness (low, medium, and high). A remote is included but you can control the light with one button on the light base, itself. Which, by the way, is a slick looking rectangular lamp with the backside being magnetic, allowing for you to not only attach it to the shade base you hang over your headboard BUT also letting you carry it with you as an impromptu flashlight, pop it on anything metallic for a temporary light, or forego the shade, altogether, and use this rechargeable light on anything metal instead of a headboard (filing cabinet, night stand, bed frame, etc.) - clever design and easily rechargeable via USB. Light output is more than adequate and long-lasting between charges. Nice to have around.

I cannot stress how much I love this lamp. For late night dim lighting while watching tv to actually attempting to finish the book on how evil Johnson and Johnson is; even for when I just need a light on to convince myself it’s time to awaken!Only thing I would say negatively about this device:The distance for the remote leaves much to be desired. I don’t love having the remote in bed with me where it will be enviably lost. Kind of defeats the purpose of a remote.Now what I love:It clips very well to my headboard. The brightness settings are well thought out. The ability to change the type (more LED to more warm) of lighting required is next level. The timer function for when I knock out reading, or to tell me it’s definitely time to. Easily charged, easily installed and easy to operate.Very solid addition to my bedroom

I'm a big reader and I'm not a fan of having the big light on while I read, so I'm always looking for a light that I would like. This is a small light that you hook onto your headboard with these hooks that they give you one is made wider for a wider headboard and the other for one thinner. You hook the lampshade to it and hang it off your headboard. The light part is magnetic and will stick to a piece on the inside. The light is rechargeable, so you don't need to have a plug nearby. I love that I don't need to have it plugged in since I don't have enough room for everything. It charges fast and it will last a long time depending on how bright you have it.It has three levels of brightness and three modes, so you pick one that helps your eyes. It comes with a remote to make it easy to use. It looks so cute and the light doesn't light up the room but it's enough to read by.I absolutely love this light and wish I had this a long time ago.

The light is great and has good settings and quite bright when you put it on high. It looks good and was easy to put together but it was a bit hard to adjust the wires so it fit properly.
