The swab performed quite well in removing moisture. It passes through the entirety of a Bb clarinet with one pull. However, the swab is quite big and three month after getting it, it caught itself in a key which left a hole (that get caught to the same key everytime I use it hereafter) and broke.

The old clarinet cleaning swab I had been using, the pull through wasn't long enough to be able to clean the instrument assembled. Which was a pain? I have the same brand cleaning swab for Tenor saxophone, which is what prompted me to try their clarinet swab, it didn't disappoint, it works really well.

This is how every swab should be made! This is used to clean the neck of an alto sax and it does the job well.

This is a great swab for the alto saxophone neck. When you look at the price versus the material required to produce this item, you feel like it's a bit overpriced.

I use this to clean out my baritone saxophone. I added a length of string and a fishing weight to the end of the string. It is small enough that it pulls through the entire baritone saxophone and keeps it clean. Also clesns up well in the laundry.

Very absorbing and durable. Works really well in the neck of my alto saxophone and I plan on buying one for my tenor soon, as well as the BG body swab.

You've found it. Don't waste your time with silk swabs that wipe but don't absorb. This BG swab is well designed, ABSORBS moisture, doesn't get stuck in your instrument, and is washable. BG makes a mouthpiece swab as well, but this swab goes through my Van Doren CL5 mouthpiece with no problem.
