I love the pens and I love the inks. I've used glass pens before and many of them have thick points, and really don't hold much ink. I bought these because of the two pens and the design of the points. One is a fine point, and it seems to me that the other is very fine. Which is what I was looking for. They also write nice and smooth. You just touch these points to the paper without any pressure, and begin to write. I experimented with different ways of holding the pen, because there is no set way to hold them.I was surprised at how much ink the pens hold. Again, with some of the others I've had they were out of ink in 3 words. Yes, the ink you use and its viscosity has a lot to do with how ink behaves with a glass pen. Speaking of inks, these are nice, rich and vibrant colors! I wasn't too impressed with the yellow, but I've never found yellow inks to be anything spectacular. Using it to accentuate and highlight a letter would work, though. They are all shimmer inks and contain a fine gold dust that makes them sparkle. People will say that the tops are hard to get off. You will unscrew the top, and then have to "pull the plug" out that seals the ink. It has to be tight, and if you forget to put it back in the bottle, you will have a mess the next time you open it, because the ink will have dripped into the cap and onto your paper, so the seals are very important to replace before you screw the cap back on. All you need is a paper towel to be able to work it off easily.These are packaged in a very pretty box with a picture of a peacock. The pens have a rubber, straw-like plastic over the points to protect them. Don't throw them away. Those tips are very delicate. I'm very pleased with this set of 2 pens, all that ink, a pen holder, and a little glass container. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone into drawing, pens, and handwriting!

I love how easy and fun it is to draw with these glass dipping pens. I was nervous that they may be hard to learn to use or difficult to clean. So glad I bought them.

I think this is a very cool pen but one tip (the thicken line pen) was broken and unusable. It is a shame because even though the tips come protected in a thick plastic sheathing the tip was broken which to me means it was damaged in factory and it was packaged anyway. I wish I could just buy the pens and not the ink because that is how much I like it and would purchase again but I don't want to spend the money for a whole set with ink. ONly the one pen that was broken.

I love this feather pen. It looks so nice. This would make a WONDERFUL gift for a writer or for anyone. It just really looks so very nice. Even better than the picture. It seemed very well made. It came in a nice box. You could just send it to someone.Of course you could also use it. It comes with plenty of accessories. Everything worked well. It was so very pretty. I really was very pleased with it. I would highly recommend it.
