The clamp itself is smaller than I expected and the locking mechanism isn't sturdy enough for a wide stand riser but it might be fine for a camera top handle.

An absolute necessity for V-mount batteries. Then you can focus on your work. These will hold big batteries too for locked off shots, but I wouldn't bounce them around too much.

A good piece of kit for the photo bag. Maybe doesn't have that "finely engineered" finish or feel of an equivalent SmallRig clamp but does the job at a sensible price.

These are great to provide V-mount power to monitors on set. However 2 of the 3 we used on a feature broke within a month. They are cheap and somewhat expendable. Don’t expect them to last. The tightening mechanism strips. And most of it is made of plastic. But overall a useful piece of kit to have. Just make sure to have a spare!

I got it and I was excited I mounted it on the c stand Almost immediately when I got it mounted a 5 pound weight To test it’s durability I need to just perfect so I got excited so far it’s been on there the whole time with a little bit of give every so often I have to untie didn’t retire but it’s all in studio use so not too big of a deal but a few days ago I was gonna move it onto a different stand and the knob completely broke off now the thing is stuck on there unless I use pliers. So disappointing I might as well have just gotten a super clamp or something worth the money for this thing to be stuck on just one stand the whole time having to kind of re-tighten every swapping in a studio not worth it in my opinion,If I could get my money back I think I would and go with something else but it’s already been way past three months since I’ve had it so I’ll just have to deal with using flyers or put some JB Weld which is going to make it look super ugly

Used this during a shoot on one of my vmount batteries and it held nicely on both the light stand and battery with no play. I was confident and really wished I had purchased two of these. I could see these as being a great addition to any grip or gaffer kit.
