It's been in my family since the 1970s. Now it's in my home. I've had many others (sometimes I get one as a gift) but there's no comparison. This will always be The One and it will probably go to the next generation.

Its sheer size appears intimidating at first, but once you try it, you'll be impressed with how easy it is to use. There's no denying that it's very expensive, and you will probably have to clear a space to store it. It has very high quality components, an attractive storage box, and an absolutely beautiful bronze finish that starts a lot of conversations. I find the Campagnolo Big Bronze Corkscrew to be an "ultimate gift".

I bought this as a gift from Amazon. Made by Campagnolo the bicycle groupo manufacturer so a quality product. I have used mine for over 30 years and it has been rare that it failed to pull even an old bottle's corks.

I was afraid I'd jumped the shark with this purchase. I shouldn't have worried. This is the most amazing cork screw ever. Yup - it's big. YES - it is incredibly well designed and well made. Read the instructions - It pops the removed cork out of the screw and right into your hand. I'm buying these for my really good wine-loving friends. Worth EVERY penny - it's that good.

La "macchina cavatappi" BIG progettata dai tecnici della Campagnolo, funziona in maniera assolutamente allineata alle caratteristiche dichiarate, cioè, in maniera perfetta; comunque, per poterne apprezzare appieno le doti, è indispensabile, al primo utilizzo, leggere attentamente le istruzioni allegate: non vi preoccupate, è facilissima da usare. L'oggetto poi è veramente bellissimo e costruito con materiali d'eccellenza, sono consapevole che il prezzo ufficiale di mercato sia elevato ma in casi come questo, ritengo sia assolutamente giustificato (tengo comunque a precisare che per merito di Amazon, che ringrazio, l'ho potuto acquisire a circa il 25% in meno del prezzo ufficiale) sicché è mia convinzione che le 5 stelle, siano l'unica valutazione assegnabile a un articolo di eccellenza quale è sicuramente questo.

Pretty extravagant but for any lifetime cycling enthusiast always tempting. So I finally took the plunge. Really nice to use all the way up to getting the cork out. Now I have just one issue - the cork is well embedded within the corkscrew and I can't figure out how to remove the cork from the corkscrew! Obviously something that I'm missing - happy to learn from others how to deal with it.
