My daughter likes it a lot, she is 8 years old but very small and thin - pants are a tiny bit long for her - so she can use it all year

My little one needs these for dance class. I purchased both the size small and the intermediate as I wasn't sure which one would work based on the other reviews; the small was insanely short and the intermediate was ridiculously long. I just cannot understand the drastic difference between two consecutive sizes. Ironically, they appear well made. I am returning these, but since I can't find any locally, I am not sure what we will do!!!

it fit well but a little high waters but it still saved the dayfor my daughter dance recital and they came right on time

Got the intermediate/6-8 for my soon to be 7-yr old. The pants inseam is approx 24", waist before stretch 22", max waist could fit up to 26", but may not be so comfy. OK quality for the destinated purpose, could be easily shortened.

I've actually bought two pair of these for my four year old son to wear to dance class at the suggestion of his teacher. It was really easy to find cute dance outfits for his twin sister but hard to find anything but sweats or baseball pants for him. These fit him well except the legs were way too long so it was worth it to me to just cut the extra off and hem them up. I'm not sure if he will want to take dance classes in the fall with his sister again, but if he does, I will likely purchase another pair of these pants.

I can see payig $20 or more for adult-sized jazz pants that will be worn a lot and for a long time, but $20 is a bit too much for a pair of jazz pants my son will wear for 6 months if we are lucky--before he outgrows them! The quality is good in terms of material and sewing, but I think I will need to find either a less expensive source or break out my overseamer and try to make them myself. I could make about 3 pairs for $20 plus shipping.....

These are nicely styled 90% cotton/10% lycra jazz pants. I went with a smaller size due to the first review saying that they were many inches to long. On the package of the ones I received, the pants are clearly labeled "SHORT INSEAM JAZZ PANT" and that is what they are. The washing label recommends cold water delicate wash and hang dry, so they should not shrink. I suggest NOT sizing down and buying the correct inseam for your child. That is what I will now be doing.

I bought these for my 5 1/2 year old for her jazz dance. She wears a 6x pant - but these were almost 6 inches too long and a little big in the waist. Otherwise it was a nice looking pant - she just needs to grow into them now
