This tool is good for cleaning 3/4 and 1/2" copper pipe and battery connectors use for one or the other, not both, so you don't get cross contamination . Great for cleaning copper pipe for soldering.

Just needed an extra cleaner for some batteries that I have and thought this would be a nice addition to the toolbox. Works like any other. However, I did notice on some batteries the positive side is a little bit thicker of a post and this unit you have to use the small side which can be tight. Cleans the lead.
