These would be fantastic if they went over the battery terminals like jumper cables do, but unfortunately there are power connections to the positive that render that impossible.

Almost identical to the OEM terminal connectors on my 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 and super easy to install. I had to drill out the positive terminal a little bit for a perfect fit, but that was it. Well made and I like the terminal snap-on covers.The original parts lasted almost 215K miles, but corrosion weakened them to the point of being useless. This is an excellent alternative and they look almost OEM so that’s a bonus.Buy with confidence and save money instead of paying inflated prices at the stealership’s parts dept.Thank you for reading! 😊👍🏻

They are way better than that generic clamp down in bare wire with a strap kind of "universal" terminals, but they're still not nearly as good as a proper modern factory battery terminal.Sometime in the future, I'll wind up replacing these as well, but they are working for now.The biggest negatives are the metal isn't as heavy of a gauge as it should be, and the positive terminal doesn't have complete coverage to keep it from a possibile short. You *always* want to have the positive terminal completely covered in case of an accident. If your positive terminal isn't covered, and the hood pushes down to touch that terminal, it could cause a fire. What would have started as a fender bender turns into a car or even two burned to the ground.

I have an ‘07 Jeep Wrangler and the battery terminals were super loose and couldn’t be tightened anymore. I bought these replacements and haven’t had any more electrical problems. The only thing about these terminals is they have studs on them to connect the vehicle wires to. The studs were larger than the original terminals, and I had to drill the vehicle wiring harness holes larger to accommodate the new terminal studs.
