This arrived today. I opened it and wondered how this could EVER work for anyone. It doesn't look like what I ordered; it is way too long to properly fit my car and the "thicker" part is only about 1-2inches deep. It is unusable.

Claims to be 3" thick, when you sit on it it's actually about 1", so no height advantage. The plastic chucks which are supposed to secure it don't stay in and the bottom is slippery so the cushion slides around the seat.

This fits the seat of the Subaru Outback and better half likes it and likes how it helps her back on short drives. But will do a part 2 review when we travel more than 2 hrs round trip.

First of all the seat is well made with a memory foam center. One side is covered with a breathable fabric and the other side with a mesh fabric. The cushion is light to carry and comfortable to sit on.One end of the cushion has more padding than the other and here is where the unique features come into play. You can place the padded end at the front of the seat to provide more support under your legs. If you place the padding at the back of the seat, it will elevate the driver or passenger. To secure the pad and keep it from slipping or sliding off, the manufacturer has provided round “chucks”. The cushion has two elastic loops on both ends. Once you have decided which way you want to orient the cushion, insert one loop at that end in one of the chucks and slip the chuck through the opening between the top and bottom seat cushions. Pull it through to the back side of the seat and secure. Repeat with the loop on the other side. And here is where I have my only issue with this cushion. You now have loose loops on the opposite end of the cushion that stick out and end up under your legs. If wearing shorts, it is not terribly comfortable. It would be nice to have a way to secure those unused loops under the cushion.My husband has been using this cushion for a few weeks and it has made his drives more comfortable. The additional support under his legs and the breathability of the cushion has helped tremendously. We will probably buy one or two more.

I ordered this car seat cushion for my wife because she has sciatica pain when riding for long periods in the car.The standout feature of this product is the memory foam, which is supposed to alleviate discomfort from prolonged sitting and offer relief for back pain, numbness, and fatigue.We tested this product on a two-hour drive. Under normal circumstances, my wife would have experienced significant discomfort within half an hour. By using this product, she could make the entire trip without stopping. She did need to make minor seat adjustments due to the thickness of the cushion.This product is not a cure-all for those with significant back or neck problems. However, our experience has been largely favorable, so we assign it a four-star rating. The product accomplishes a lot of what it is advertised to provide.
