First off....i Love that someone offers these! However, the gaskets of course don't work, like most and smell terrible. Not that that matters but it's weird. My main concern is the boosters have slightly different dimensions and brass tubes are epoxied in. Not pressed in or however edelbrock does it. One of these boosters spit, instead of spraying 8 lines into one and the other wasn't much better. I assume they weren't aligned correctly during assembly?? Idk. Caused some issues on a good running engine that weren't there before. Will need to be removed and will delay the build. Maybe I just got a bad batch??? Someone else has now mentioned that.

The part is not the same dimensions as a Edlebrock booster. The holes in the it are too small and the will lead to frustrating tuning. It is a Chinese knock off that was not even close to the Edlebrock booster.Save your money, do not buy.

I checked and measured these annular boosters for size, fit form and function and everything looked good. I did remove some typical casting blemishes and polished them up a bit. They fit perfectly and are ready to go. Haven't run them yet but spring will be here before we know it!

I was a bit skeptical initially at these annular discharge boosters, but they showed up to my house looking halfway decent (although you can see where the air bleeds and whatnot are epoxied into the aluminum body) and they installed directly in place of these stock straight leg booster in an Edelbrock 1406. While I was at it, I upgraded the metering rods and jets to Edelbrock 1906 specifications to match the boosters. After everything was back together the car fired right up and a quick spin around the block did not uncover any drivability issues. Only time will tell, but this seems like a very cost effective way to upgrade your Edelbrock performer carburetor without spending $400 on an AVS2.
