It was missing a bracket, spring, and the short cable which hooks to the outside handle. I had to move these parts over from the old one to the new one which included having to drill out a rivet on the bracket and rivet it to the new one. Otherwise, it seems to be working fine. We'll see how long it lasts.

Part looks/ feels like a perfect replacement. Installed it a couple days ago and it all seems to work as intended. Note to people that all of these seem to have an issue with the initial reset of the lock release. Make sure you have reset the lever arm to it’s full returned position before installation or else you’ll have to pull it apart. Ask me how I know.

This does NOT fit 2011 Jetta 2.5 SEL. Amazon fit said it did. Bummed I can’t return it.
